Justin is the Beverage Director for Jackson Ward restaurant Saison. He started bartending 13 years ago at Capital Alehouse in Midlothian and fell in love with craft beer industry to consider a career in brewing. However, once he started working at Saison with Chris Elford, he fell inlove with the creative process of creating cocktails and became the Beverage Director after five years behind the bar.
While he loves creating fun cocktails, Justin finds himself reverting back to classic cocktails and finding ways to put his creative touches on them.
We will be featuring two cocktails from Bartender Takeover event in our May cocktail menu all month long:
Sazzy Lady: Four-Port rum, Ruby Port Cask-Finished rum, Falernum, angostura, tiki bitters
Tortugan Conspiracy: Four-Port rum, allspice dram, demerara, lime, passionfruit
Justin is donating all of his tips from the event to the Connor’s Heroes, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting families impacted by childhood cancer.
